Dave Farr - The amount of restranit required for a load directly against the headboard is 1x the weight of the load.
For anything not touching the headboard it is 2x.
For anything over the height of the headboard 1.5x.
The restraint is only as good as the lowest value of the fixing point it is anchored to.
By & large, rope rails are only any good for anchoring tarpaulins.
